Body Centerline-visual- Snow Man

The body centerline is an imaginary column from Huiyin (coccyx area) to Baihui (crown). This line is a sensation of power, like that of a bow and arrow. When doing the scooping chi movement of the LCU or Body and Mind Method, you may want to visualize you became a snow man with the Dantien (abdominal area), chest (middle Dantien area) and the head squarely secured on top of each other. Being a snowman, you will be able to visualize yourself as a three dimension person with roundness in your lower back, the Mingmen area, and your upper back, the shoulder plate area. The roundness of your Mingmen area means you will increase the chi in that area and chi will nourish and heal the internal organs including the kidneys, liver, stomach, intestines, pancreas, spleen and the reproductive organs. The roundness in the Middle Dantien area means more chi for the heart and the lungs.

Master Luke Chan demonstrates "scooping chi" using the body centerline visual.
