Balance

      This is my story. For many years I could not stand and close my eyes without falling or tipping over. When taking showers I had to place elbow on wall to balance. I could not do standing lift chi up pull chi down without sitting or having eyes open. I have seen neurologist, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. None have helped much. I could at most stand 20 seconds with eyes closed but even then I wobbled. Then at the Black Mt. Retreat and especially at the Sedona Retreat I learned how to focus on lower Daintain. Since I have been able to stand for 15 to 20 minutes with eyes closed and do six directions La Chi with eyes closed. This is sitting and standing.

       A second benefit I noticed after the retreat was I do not seem to get car sick either. We took a jeep tour and most of the time if not in front seat and usually driving I would get car sick. I seat in back of jeep and we went four wheeling and never even felt mildly car sick. Focusing on lower daintain has helped resolve couple of problems I had since at least age 5 and I am 47 now.
